At 33-30 for the season, the Phoenix Suns have had somewhat of a rough year. They have been having to fight for every point, every win throughout these last stages of the tournament, hoping to clinch one of the last Playoffs berths in the Western Conference. And taking a win at home against the LA Clippers, a team that has recently seem to be able to defeat just about anyone, is certainly going to help their case. Like every good story worth telling, this has two sides clearly marked. For the Phoenix Suns, this battled till the last second 93-90 win puts them into a position that could get them a pass into the postseason. For the Clippers, on the other hand, it is just a clear reminder that despite all the new talent that this squad has brought to its rooster, it been 5 years since the Clippers won a game at the US Airways Center, in Phoenix Arizona. The veteran Steve Nash made a brilliant play at the end of regulation time to give the Suns the upper hand. He hit a crucial driving layup, then made two free throws for the deciding points in a game that was as exciting and competitive as a regular season game gets.
